The girl and boy from The Hunger Games were very inspiring. They lived in a small town and got chosen with many other kids to fight until the death. Although they were poor, untrained, and not fighters they still came out on top because they never gave up. I can relate because I live in a small town but have huge dreams and just because I live in a small town doesn’t mean I can’t strive and work to something that not only people around my town know me for, but around the country can know me for.

I agree wholeheartedly, living in a small town limits anyones chances for most opportunitys, things like scholarships, job opportunitys, and anything else that bigger towns can offer. I can relate with how your feeling, my goal is to leave this town make a name for myself, and actually prove i have what it takes to be known around the world, and honestly little towns like here that is hard to do.

I would like to have a heart-to-heart conversation with Edgar Allen Poe because he wrote one of my favorite short stories, The Raven. I would like to ask him how to become a better writer. I would also ask him to help me write a story of my own to present to the world.

Sylvester Stallone, when he was in his the rocky movies, would be my favorite character. I feel like he would be a great person to have a heart to heart with because he could relate to me in all different ways. He doesnt give up on a goal and he trys and trys until he will reach it. He would do anything just to be on top and so will I.

I love the Rocky movies, they are so inspirational! Rocky is a hard working guy who never gives up. He shows that no matter how hard life keeps pushing you down, he kept fighting back even harder. He never gave up on his dreams and that is important.

If I could have a “heart-to-heart” with my favorite character from a film, theater, or literature it would have to be with Morgan Freeman. I would want to talk to him for many reasons. First of all, his voice whenever he narrates movies is, in my opinion, the perfect narration voice. Secondly, he is an intelligent actor. It could be that he does a great job of portraying his intelligence in his films, but i don’t buy it. From watching interviews of him, I can tell he is very intelligent. I would also choose him because in most of the movies that he acts in, he plays the role of the advice giver. If i ever got the opportunity to have a discussion with him, I would talk to him about what mistakes he has made in his life and ask for his advice. The reason I would talk to him about this is because I feel like he would be very good at relaying advice. Also, Morgan Freeman, and the way he describes things would make it very easy for his teachings to stick with me. I always look for the right people to give me advice because history repeats itself and the only way to maneuver the same mistakes is to learn from your own and other people’s mistakes.

The person that i would have a heart-to-heart with would be Miley Cyrus. Although everyone believes she has gone crazy, which i do agree with to a point, i would love to hear how she feels. I believe that Miley Cryus used to be a teenage girl just like myself, but under the pressure of the media and the critisism of the world, she fell apart. In her television show “Miley: The Movement” she tells how she always had to pretend to be someone she wasnt, but now she can be herself. Everyone expected her to be the perfect Miley; or Hannah that she portrayed in her television series. But no one could accept the fact that she had grown up. I believe having a heart to heart with Miley Cyrus would be benefitial in a way to help myself, as well as other girls, to know that you dont have to be someone your not, no matter what you’ve been told your whole life- Be yourself, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks as long as you are happy.

That is a very good point. Everyone does need to realize she has grown up and is not someone the media is trying to make her. I am glad she is finally showing her true self and not letting everyone tell her how she should be and act.

I agree I believe it would be very interesting to have a heart-to-heart with Miley Cyrus. I feel like the picture we are shown truth the media is not always the true Miley. During a heart-to-heart with Miley, i would love to hear her option on what the media says and thinks about her. I think there is alot more to Miley Cyrus then we could ever believe.

If i could have a Heart-to-Heart with any movie character it would have to be Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect. She is strong willed, indeopendent, and honestly just doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her. I would ask her “What made her so independent?” and I would really want to learn how to do horizontal running from her.

Horizontal running is a great skill to have! I feel everyone should know how to do it. Fat Amy is a great person to look at. Like you said she doesn’t care what peple think abut her. I mean she calls herself “Fat” Amy. This post is great because unlike everyone else’s your post actually got a response out of me; it made me laugh.

This is going to sound completely cliche, but if I had to choose I would have a heart-to-heart with Allie Hamiliton from the Notebook. She goes through the ultimate heart break in the movie. She got me to see that even if you are heartbroken and want to give up on yourself, that you can’t. You have to push yourself to be strong.

I think that Allie Hamilton also showed the audience that everything happens for a reason. Whether it’s good or bad is up to you and how you choose to deal with the situation.

One actress I find with great character is Sandra Bullock. She can play any role in a movie such as the comedy “The Heat” or “The Blind Side” a very touching true story. In any movie she plays in her dry sense of humor is displayed. But the character trait that Sandra has shown that has touched my life personally is her confidence. I don’t believe it is fake or just shown in her acting. Confidence is something I struggle with in my life. I want to know what she puts into her head to make herself seem like she does not mind what anyone in the world cares about her.

We both picked Sandra Bullock! I find her inspiring! I Love how she gives 100% into every role. She becomes the role and I think that is how she does so well in her acting, along with her levels of conifendence.

If I could have a “heart-to-heart” with my favorite character, it would most definitely be Carrie Underwood. She is my favorite country artist and is truly an inspiration to me. I would want to talk to her for many reasons. First, I would ask her what her life was like before she became famous. Secondly, I’d ask how she decided to try out for American Idol and what she felt like when she actually won. Last but not least, I’d ask her how much her life has change since she has became famous. The reason I would talk to her about all of this is because I’ve looked up to her since day one. I have several dreams for myself, as she did, and would hope to get some more inspiration and maybe even guidance from her.

If I could have a heart-to heart conversation with anyone from film, theater or literature it would be Sandra Bullock’s Character in the new movie “Gravity.” Bullock’s Character, Ryan Stone, was very inspiring. Stone had to overcome personal barriers that were keeeping her from getting over her past. Without giving too much away, she had to overcome these barriers while dealing with the overwhelming fear of being stuck in space with no obivous way to get back home on earth. In the end the audience, could not help but feel the same triumph that Bullock protrayed to feel. I would love to ask her chacacter, specifically, how it felt in the end to overcome her dreams, past and fears.

My favorite famous person isn’t a popular actor, but he is a phenomenal stand-up comedian. I think I could honestly probably pour my heart out to him. Kevin Hart is a hilarious and talented man; yet, he is still a laid-back, down-to-earth kind of guy. His fame did not get the best of him, which is why he is who I would have a heart-to-heart with. I wouldn’t know how to begin talking to him. I would probably start out by asking him how he does what he does, and why? Then, I would probably ask him for advice on how to make it through the struggles in my life. I would be one-hundred percent comfortable and open with Kevin. I am a very open-minded person anyway; I don’t think there is anything I would not feel comfortable talking to Kevin Hart about. I will meet Kevin Hart someday!

I agree with this for many of the same reasons that you mentioned, but also some different ones. He is HILARIOUS but just like you said he can still be down to earth. He just really has a talent of making literally anything funny! Another thing that would make me want to talk to him would be that since he understands how to make people laugh, I bet he would know how to make a person think to.

The most inspiring chracter from any movie to me would have to be Sean Astin’s chracter Rudy Ruettiger from the movie “Rudy”. He never gave up on his dream to play football for the University of Notre Dame, He’s had this dream since he was a kid watching the Irish play on tv while he would sit on the floor and eat his dinner every saturday. His dad inspired him to work hard for everything, to accomplish his goals, and to get good grades in school. No matter how much he would get beat up in football practice in high school, he never gave up; continued to shine bright in the eyes of recruiting scouts. He ended up being a walk on to Notre Dame (which means he would play on the team, but he would be a 4th or 5th string player). Throughout his college career he did not get to play in one game, until the very end of his senior season. He played in the very last plays in the last game, and sacks the opposing quarterback as the whole stadium chants “Rudy!”. He is a major inspiration to me, to never give up. even when against all odds, to keep fighting for what you want.

That’s a very good comment. Rudy is one of the greatest movies of all time just because it makes you want to work as hard as Rudy in everything that we do. He really would be a good person to sit down and talk to because he would have a lot of good advice on how to get through difficult times. I would choose to sit down and have a “heart to heart” with him to!

If I could have a heart-to-heart conversation with a character, I would DEFINITELY pick Iron Man, who technically is not made of iron, rather a gold-titanium alloy. I know what you are thinking, “She used this example in class.” I did not pick him because of his shiny suit, or because of Robert Downey Jr., or because of his awesome house. I chose Tony Stark because of what he made of a terrible situation. Everyone has had bad situations in life and it varies with each different person. Tony lived a very glamorous life that his parents provided for him through their company, Stark Industries. He ignored his engineering skills to live a reckless life. Unexpectedly, his parents died in a car accident that was planned by a rival company. Anthony Stark was left with the business with no business skills. One day, he was visiting an international plant for a field test of a weapon made by Stark Industries when a group of terrorists attacked. When a land mine exploded, a piece of shrapnel pierced Stark in his chest, near his heart. He was captured and forced to build a piece of weaponry with a physicist to help his captors. He used his skills to develop a suit with a magnetic field generator to keep the shrapnel from reaching his heart. They created it and the battery was charging when the terrorists figured out what they were doing and went to the cell to stop them. Stark suited up and escaped, but the professor did not make it. When he returned, he devoted his life to use this suit to protect people and ended up making more suits. He was in a situation that none of us could even imagine being in. He lost so many people that meant so much to him and decided he wanted to save others. He shows me that no matter how terrible my situation may be, that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. He was just a 21 year old that was forced to grow up faster than he planned. He used his talents to save his life and to save others. Now I know that even though things may seem bad, do not look at your situation as bad, but a lesson to be learned.

I would like to have a conversation with Andie(Briana Evigan) from the movie Step Up 2. She is the main character of the movie and she doesn’t care about anything except dancing with her crew. She loves dancing with her crew more than anything. She puts dance before everything and practically makes it her life. I would love to have a conversation with her because we both have the same feelings about dancing.I may not dance with a street crew, but i do dance on a dance team and the dance team is where my passion is at. Dancing is the light of my day and i feel that it is the same for hers too. Working on getting better in dance and focusing on that helps me cope with a lot of other things I have to do,especially my education. Anyways, I just feel like her and I would have a lot in common when it comes to dance. With the way we feel about our dancing career, we have a lot in common, and I feel that we would never run out of things to say.

If I could have a heart-to-heart with my favorite character from a film, theater, or literature it would be Reese Witherspoon. I would ask her how hard it is to balance her family and work, because her life style is very chaotic. In my future I would like to become a nurse, specifically a radiologist. Nurses can have very chaotic lifestyles, also. Outside of her films, she gives to her community and loves to help others. She is not like the other actresses you never see her in tabloids. She is a very down to earth person, and I can relate to her more than others because she is herself and not pretending she is someone she is not just for publicity.

I would love to have a heart to heart with her too! My life is also so busy! Whenever I see her on a magizine or tabloid she has a smile on her face. This is how I want to be in life. I want my life to be chaotic, but at the same time I do not want it to be stressful. I tend to put a lot of stress on myself when I have a lot of things going on. The character that I would like to have my “heart-to-heart” with would have to be Billy Madison(Adam Sandler) . Now one might ask why of all people would I want to talk to Billy Madison. Well if any one has ever seen the movie “Billy Madison”, then they know that Billy went back throught elementary, junior, and senior high school to prove to his father that he was fit to take over his fathers hotel chain. Billy wanted to prove to, not only his father, but to himself and everyone else, that he could make something of himself and be a great person and that’s just how I feel too. i want to be something that no one could ever expect me to become. At the end of the movie Billy also showed that even though he had worked so hard to prove that he was fit for the job, he relinquished the job to go out and fulfill his own dream of becoming a teacher. Now, I don’t want to be a teacher but i do want to go out and prove to everyone, including myself that I can be someone, and not just some average guy that works nine to five every single day. I feel that me and Billy could sit down and just have a nice, long, genuine conversation about dang near anything.

Billy Madison is really an amazing role model, maybe not for what he did in his childhood, but for what he accomplished after. Even though he was the kid that just had everything handed to him for most his life, he still proved he can work hard, and earn somethings as well. I think a heart to heart with him would be extremely insightful on how to prove yourself no matter how many people are looking down on you.

This taught her many lessons. Attitude does change everyone. If you have a bad attitude you do not get what you want most of the time. She had to make a change in her life, to get what she wanted and that was to fulfill her dreams.

I love this movie too! You explained the movie well, about how she worked hard for everything she wanted. She is someone to look up to because in the movie she proves that if you never give up on the things that are important to you in life, you can’t go wrong. She had been in love with two things her whole life- Q and basketball. In the end, through all the struggle she came out a winner because she ended up with the two things she had wanted all along. It showed that whatever is meant to be, will be!

If I could have a heart to heart with someone famous, I would love to meet Taylor Swift. I know a lot of people have their different opinions about her, but I love everything she does for everyone! I’ve been to three of her concerts, and she entertains you the whole with no problem at all. Her songs hit close to home, so I love listening to her now! I would love to know how she handled becoming a famous singer and songwriter so young and being a regular teenager at the same time. If you really look into everything she does, you’d be amazed. She has the biggest heart. Anything from visiting her biggest fans in hospitals around the world, donating money, time, and effort for anything or anyone who needs it, to knowing how to write the perfect songs with the perfect lyrics to help what your going through because she gone through the same thing, and she knows everything will turn out okay.
